Citroen?

Why aren't Citroen contesting the full WRC this year? I know that they never planned to, but with their success last year, and then the good fortune so far this year, why can't, and won't, they enter every round - as they'd probably be in with a good shot at the Championship?

Mind you, heinsight is a wonderful thing

Speedworx should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
They are not entering a full season this year, because teams are allowed 3 years to build upto a full season.

They must do something like 4 in year 1, half in year 2 and then all in year 3. This is what Citroen are doing and why they are not scoring constructors points.

My understanding is that teams can come in and commit to a full season immediately if they want to, but given the expense, learning curve etc. few would want to do.

These rules are to ensure commitment from teams who are building up their experience / working towards a full programme in the future.
