Peter Ford should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Where's Bill?..

It seems that we are seeing less and less of Bill Woods on RPM lately, what happening?Diffy seems to be getting all the jobs he did in the last few years, like co hosting the F1 with Neil, hosting the V8 rounds and commenating ,now he seems to do nothing,.

I think they have Bill doing some fill in work in other areas. I have seen him do quite a few news updates etc lately. Haven't heard any stories about this being regular so he could be back soon.

Woods is probably gonna move across to the news team next year with no motor racing.

No motor racing?
Are we expecting ten to lose the F1, MotoGP and WRC as well?

I thought it was mentioned that he was to become the director of sport (or a similar title) on channel 10 and would no longer be the front man on the TV

Well that would be a good thing, given he is a fan of motorsport.

I'm one of the seemingly small group of people that like Bill Woods. Greg Rust is the worlds best pit reporter or co host but on his own I find him a bit dry.

Bill Woods has been at Channel 10 for alot longer than Channel 10 have been the 'Home of Motorsport', he won't be going anywhere near Channel 7.

Bill Woods has always come across to me as someone doing the job he is told to do, ie.... over the last ten years, cover motorsport. Just as previously it was basketball, he has never come across (to me anyway) as having a passion for the sport)

Bill's been good at whatever ten have assigned him. Does research well, presents professionally, always a good lead.

Those who don't like him probably have the impression that professional journalists aren't the right people for their liking, preferring maybe a retired racer instead. Ten already have Crompton and Beattie in the mix, but using one of them as a lead would dilute thier perceived speciality.

He wouldn't have written 'Legends of Speed' if he wasn't passionate about motorsport.
