The legendary Brands Hatch circuit in Kent is the venue that will kick start the 2005 Evoactive season of track days, when the club runs its opening course there on February 28.

If you are new to track day driving or feel a bit rusty and need to hone your driving technique, the season-opener on the 1.2-mile Brands Hatch Indy circuit will be perfect for you, as Evoactive will be running one of its popular Introduction Courses.

Not only will you get to drive your own car on one of the most famous and dramatic race circuits in the world, but there will also be briefings and instruction from a host of professional racing drivers, including ex-British Touring Car Championship ace Simon Harrison.

The instructors will guide you through every aspect of track day driving, from basic car preparation to finding the all-important racing line around such famous corners as Paddock Hill Bend, Druids hairpin and Clearways.

Once you’ve had a go around the track in your own car, there will be the chance to see how the professionals do it with a high-speed passenger ride in a John Cooper Mini Challenge race car. The awesome 383bhp V8 Radical SR8 sportscar will also be giving demonstration runs during the day.
