Gibson motorsport
just watching the replay of the 500 on fox sports at the moment and it jogged my memory of something early in the race ...why the heck didnt the Gibson boys pull that guard off of Cromptons tyre ????
it was obvious from the TV it was a problem and very obvious when he went back out and of course eventually caused the cars retirement when the tyre let go into turn one. seems very strange to me that the mechanics didnt really even give it a tug or anything. |

Yeah, it was a bit strange, I don't exactly know what was going on there...but soon after the car left the pits, they pulled the bashing devices out into pit lane, and from what I was seeing, they were almost ready to pull him back in and fix it...
