And I expect one of those to be announced tomorrow or Monday. |

Josh Price. Third Subaru. Says my gut!
The TCR run out I am told this week was literally to make the non-media day a little busier. Yes, he has tested before, but so have others: testing a car means nowt. |

I don't doubt that it is probably correct - just that a 3rd Subaru has only been speculated at in one media source so far. |

MG BTCC
Interesting that on the MG website the drop down menu under owners has been removed. Begs the question that MG have withdrawn financial support.
To correct previous reports on how Jason Plato put the deal together between MG and 888, the facts are that the 888 deal/MG was originally set up by Stuart Clarke (ex Honda racer) and Plato came in at the last minute with his Tesco + deal. What goes around eventually came around for Ian Harrison |

BMR, testing?! Must be some pennies floating about, Mr Plato wasn't allowed a test 'til Snett after the Brands shunt last year!

Sort of BTCC-ish news: looks like Dan Welch is racing in Porsches this year. Or at least he was in the driver's photo!

It's now 4 days (or 8 half days) per driver. In addition to 5 other days: 1x Donington, 1x Brands, 1x Thruxton and 2x Snetterton |

Even so - the other dates are still an increase from 6 to 7.
The regulations also say that they can have 4 test days per driver. So if the BMR situation was repeated, they could have tested with Sutton (for example) for 4 days, then tested with Plato for a further 4 days. Obviously they are restricted on the tracks they can use, there is not much capacity in the UK but it is possible if they get creative. Having said that - the lack of BMR testing may have not been an indication of budget, but connected to the ownership of the cars and being permitted by the car owner(s) to run them on extra days.... |

Another big sponsor on board with Norlin. Could Nash be an outside shout for the title? I'm certainly expecting big things from them this year - some good people involved with the team.
