Auto Union for sale???

Does anyone know any details about the Auto Union that is for sale in the back of the latest C&CS???? Is it the actural car or just 3 engines????? Where did it come from??

And also what happened to the one that went up to Scotland??

There are no GENUINE A-type Auto Unions in existence. C & G have just built a replica (see this month's Motor Sport), which was done from just a couple of drawings and lots of pictures. Whatever this car is, it is not a real A-type!

The car featured in Motor Sport some months ago was a fake, and not even a good one, according to sources I've read. Oddly, Motor Sport have not seen fit to inform their readers that they were conned: I'd be willing to bet that the MS article comprises most of the provenance for this car ....
