and if that wasn't enough, the Truckers seem to think that the 15th/16th April meet is in fact on the 22nd!

The BARC site does say "provisional" guys, there may well be further changes before everything is finalised.

The calendar says 2006 but the availability forms are still for 2005. Maybe the updated one will follow suit soon.

considering the current mess SCSA is in - I'm not too surprised. keep checking and it might turn up - unless they've gone it alone??

Only an MSA affiliated club is allowed to run race meetings - they might have appointed someone else to run the meetings but SCSA couldn't run them themselves.

Pits - take a look at the SCSA thread that's running - I think the suggestion is that the dates are under review as the roadcourse dates have been scrapped. I'll let you know if I hear anything!

hi Piglet - Happy New Year & all that! I have been keeping a close eye on the SCSA threads, and also talking to SCSA & BARC - and the last I had heard was that 2006 was going to be the same as 2005. i.e. BARC were going to run the meetings on behalf of the SCSA. (Unless BRSCC have put in a cheaper quote? ......arggh!!)

On the current calendars I've already got a clash of interests - July 01/02 SCSA or DTM ?? hmmmmm!

Happy New Year ThePits! Did you hear the nice piece of pre-Christmas news from some people that we all know well?? This calls for a Rockingham Party next year assuming we're all there!!

I don't make my plans until after the Autosport show so we'll see what it all looks like then - I will only be there if the status quo (see that joke again!) is maintained!

Not sure about any clashes at the mo - other than the GP and my Le Mans trip ) I'm not entirely sure what Rockingham dates are current at the moment.

Please note that the Barc calendar states that it has been amended today Wed 4th January 2006 on www.barc.net/calendar.htm

Perhaps prizes should be awarded to those who can spot the differences!!!! May hopefully clarify some of your earlier date queries/clashes.

There are many differences...mainly those highlighted in lilac/purple! The BARC SEC dates make much more sense now!!
