Word is that the Professor is suffering from a broken wrist, having done a Patrick Carpentier down the stairs at home.

Alesi stuffs his race car for no reason at all during qualifying.

Heidfeld is DQ'd because the team forgot to weigh him.

The boss falls down the stairs.

HOW MANY MORE HINTS DO YOU NEED, ALAIN? GET OUT NOW WHILE YOU STILL CAN!

P.S. You are still the greatest pilote ever. Don't wreck it by going down as the most wretched owner ever ...

Prost really need to sort themselves out. A decent budget, plus a good driver pairing, and an engine which is not the worst on the grid.

SORT IT OUT ALAIN!!!!!

It looks unsortable to me....

Frankly the team can't do a thing right, the car looks a dog, the relations with the engine provider are poor and they can't even manage simple mathematics...

If they can't even weigh a car properly how will they ever design one ?

Apparantly the underweight issue was down to some 'new' parts they put on the car.....
logo's maybe .....

I agree Liz, Alain give up the whole shambles before it drags you down. The Ligier curse is with you - they couldn't get anything right either !!!

Hopeless cause - going nowhere. If Pug do pull out who will fill the gap anyway - even AP's longstanding links with McLaren won't produce a Merc deal .

A dead duck !

I don't think Alain should give up now.
If he does, he will be considered a great driver who never made it as a team manager.

He should persist and maybe start learning a few things.
I think Alain is still the friendly personality he was when driving. I met him once and I was under the impression he's an absolute gentleman with a kind and warm radiation.
He should start with being harder, not only for himself but for everyone involved in the team because I believe that's one of the problems with the Prost team.
Being a manager and knowing when to put pressure on people - and how much of it - is something you have to learn.

Besides, how much bad luck can someone get.
That's got to change sooner or later.
And when it does, and he's no longer there, I would feel really sorry for him.

And something I find very strange is that people who say they are a fan of his now want him to leave.
It should be the other way around.
Write him a letter of support. Tell him you're behind him all the way.
I did and I got a very nice letter back.
A pet on the back can sometimes do miracles, especially with such a sensitive person as Alain.

He could take the elevator. They are generally much safer.

I will write Alain an email. I always liked him best anyway.

Interesting that a couple of seasons ago it was Ligier, Sauber, Stewart and Jordan on the up, looking to challange the well established teams. Now look. Oh dear. Where's the new up and coming teams this year? Williams don't count as they themselves are a fallen giant on the rebound. Benetton are yet to bounce back. My tips are Arrows and (naturally) Minardi. Next year, my friends, next year.....

Definitely Arrows. They are unbelievable this year. And they are doing it with less money than Alain has ... HOW?

GO ARROWS!

By the end of the season Minardi will have left Prost at the back of the grid - they're already managing to beat them in the races now - Jaguar and Benetton should also watch out, as the Minardis actually lap faster during races than they do.

GO MINARDI!!!!!!
