Who will Mark Skaife Drive for in the Enduros?
Seems that TWPG have gone with Baird, Owen, Priaulx and Price: http://www.v8supercars.com.au/conten...ro_four_named/
I'm glad to see that Skaife isn't in that list, as it basically makes the statement he never could before: He was screwed over by Walkinshaw. But if he's driving for Holden that basically reduces his options to the Kellys and PMM. I mean he could also make an appearance with the HRT reject show a.k.a. Sprint Gas Racing, hang out with his old mates Grech and Murph, but somehow I don't think he will. On the blue side it certainly increases the odds that he'll be driving for them. Have FPR or 888 announced their driver lineups yet? I could very much see Skaife pairing up successfully with Lowndes, and a pairing with Richo would make sense too. |

Kelly or PMM i reckon would be the shortest odds. eNews did mention that if he does do them he will need a black suit to that sujests Kelly's.

Maybe Skaifesports will be revived as the new #021 Ford...
no I don't believe it either. But still let's start a Skaife in a Ford thread. How about Skaife in FPR.... no wait, MNews is running those Vodaphone Nissan mock-up images, Skaife, back in a Nissan where it all started... no wait - honouring his late mate and the manufacturer he was most associated with, Skaife's going to import a WTCC Lada 110 |

Black suit says Kelly's doesn't it. However, one would expect Todd and Rick will drive togther - so it then depends who he would be driving with.
SGR go well at 1 race a year - Bathurst. Murph is a 4 time winner, 2nd last year, I'd say that, if MS wants a chance to win, SGR is where he should go. |

Last year at Bathurst that particular vehicle came to a halt on the racetrack in just about every session didn't it? And one of those was the steering wheel coming off....
Realistically, there are only a handful of cars that are going to be able to win the race, and Skaife won't be in any of those. |

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place. |

well unless the Kelly's split which IMO they are mad to they arn't really in the hunt for the championship. if they do if i were him i would go there as him and Todd are proven Bathurst winning combo. SGR will pair Murph and Bargs WR is sorted, the only other competitive drive would be with Rusty.
i like a couple others though have a funny feeling he will be in the commentry box. |

He should have a drive in a Ford to complete his career:
1. Colin Bond changed to Ford. 2. Moffat was driving holdens. 3. Brock was driving Sierras. 4. Lowndes changed to Ford. 5. Ingall changed to Ford. 6. Seton is driving holdens. Any others? Perkins and Johnson stayed loyal. |

it doesnt seem that he is doing much pr for Holden. so if a drive came up at 888 he would be mad not to take it. i know if i was a driver and was offered a drive with a team of that rating i would jump at it. think about the " up yours" to Walkinshaw if he won bathurst

I still think it would be a magic match if he were to be alongside Mr Ingall... Please let it happen.

It won't be a Ford, unless he wants to buy out his contract which runs until the end of this year.

I think he'll be commentating. The logic will probably go that if he can't get a drive in a car that has a real chance of winning, he won't bother.
Alongside Ingall would make most sense. Potential race winning car and driver, and Tim Slade isn't really an option if they want to win. |
