I did find it humerous though that the 888 commodore had its headlights on... That would be a shared component!
I'm well aware of what they dont make.

And for the record, most of the models still carry a 15in spare. Only HSVs etc wouldn't be able to fit anything less than 17s.

Yeah I know about your knowledge of the products from Ford und Holden! You've witnessed my only rant on the topic of irrelevant cars...

I agree that both should make coupes though!

My VE carries a full spare But youve got to option it...

I wont ever be in a situation to have to fully option a spare on a VE haha

I'd rather an F6(BA/F), than a VE (and for the same money)

What, no FG?

Coming from someone in the state which makes the VE, I reckon you'd be as game as I was parading a commodore in Geelong, hopping out of the car, popping the bonnet and gleaming!

BTW i got out there pretty quick...

I own holdens, but if i'm in a position to buy a brand spankers VE, i'd rather spend that money on a 2nd hand F6 that eats new HSVs every day of the week
I'm not as one eyed as some on this forum

Well, make that two-eyed... There are other manufacturers than Ford and Holden. For the price of a Corolla you could get an R34 Skyline, RX-7, etc that would blow the doors off both!

Have you ever driven one? Get back to me when you've felt the buzz of a thousand hornets under your foot, or the flat cornering of a cheetah

Sorry, back to the topic of cut and shut Commodores...

Rotar.. rotary... chook cooker. Yep they all sound like someone f@rting through a straw.

Still, the GTR is a nice beast. I've had the pleasure of driving one.

Can't beat the sound of a V8. Its the only engine/car that I have owned and never got sick of the sound of it.

As Pro said, each to their own!

Also no fuel filler cut out either. So a bit more work to be done there I think.

Knew a guy with a RX7 which had an alarm, that when you locked it, it sounded like the finishing beeps on a microwave. Ended up calling him Colonel for some reason...

I think its just the missing rear bumper that makes it look like theirs no taillight cutouts, as the taillights bolt in above it?

Your right there, had to have a look at my VE in driveway to check that.
Still looks like it needs some more prep work.

I thought you were a true Holden man...
I can't believe you did not know this off by heart. If I had to say this to my dad, he would belt the living **** out of me...... he was a true Holden man... even named my brother Brocky.

Getting up in mornings before the sun has come really gets to you after a while, and the last thing you can remember is the fine design details of the Commodore.

Yes, I'm a GM/Chevy/Holden man and terribly ashamed that I had to look at my car to check things. Please accept my sincerest apologies for letting the Red side down.
