Argentina and Uruguay have a lot of tradition in autocross (dirt circuit racing).
The novelty here is the engine power and factory involvement.

Whereas other rallycross chmpionships will switch to electric, the Argentine Rallycross Championship will switch to 5.0L V8 engines!!!

The SuperCarXwill debut this weekend at the Oreste Berta headquarters in Alta Gracia, Cördoba.
Driverw will include Gustavo Trelles, Gabriel Raies and Gabriel Pozzo.

The last round was held today at General Roca.
Peruvian ace Nicolás Fuchs won the Maxi Rally Turbo championship.
Germán Alvarez won the Maxi Rally Light championship.
Uruguyan veteran Gustavo Trelles won the RC2n (former FIA N4) championship.

The series is interesting from the cars and drivers point of view. They have to improve a lot the delimitation of the circuits, I know the budget isn't big and the circuits are temporary, but it have to improve in some way. Those sticks and piles of tires ends always far from the track.
The Punta del Este circuit back in 2017 was the best layout in my opinion.

About the super CARX cars, they will be a lot of fun and noise. I don't know what will happen with the other categories, I assume that the atmospheric Maxi Rally cars should dissapear, or maybe the group-N cars.
