Good to see the photos Phil, I was there on the Sunday with the Ford Falcon GT Nationals crowd and got a photo, we missed out on signing up for the lunchtime parade laps unfortunately.
The following two ex-Bathurst cars were there, driven by their original drivers John French and Murray Carter. John French Murray Carter John you also should have a look at the photos from the Colingrove hillclimb on Phil's site - have a go at the attitude on the blue MG! Hillclimb album |

Thanks BluDvl.
Kevin Shearer is a trooper. He's into his 70's these days and punts that old Ford Special like there's no tomorrow. One of the nicest and most dte blokes you'll ever meet. A pity there's not more old blokes like him around anymore. Another aside is that he was named driver of the meeting at this event. Thanks too to all who have looked at these pics so far. Hope youve enjoyed them Regards Phil |

why do I love Aus V8's . . . old and new, but can't stand septic tanks . . . .
the only polite answer I can think of is Australia has corners, curves, hills and bends . . . they, like Europeans (some of them) designed their cars accordingly. |

America has corners as well Zef,just after 100yrs of building cars, they STILL have not worked out how to get a car round them yet.Model T,best handling American car ever, you would have expected a bit more development since then.
