Not surprised. He really hasn’t covered himself in glory here and McLaren have a right to be peeved. Why he thinks he can just break a contract without even coming to an agreement with Macca IDK. He’s probably lucky they aren’t trying to hold him to that seat.

Good oval experience for him with the big cars. Pretty impressive that he has hit all 3 types of tracks on the schedule so early in his Indycar experience.

Sister motorsports outlets Autosport and Motorsport, have the same article, saying, Simon Pagenaud continues to be sidelined with concussion-like symptoms following his horrendous accident at Mid-Ohio. I couldn't find anything else.

I think it's unlikely he will appear for the rest of the season. Just have a rest and hopefully recover in time for the new season, if he can that is.

Junior Penske guys will work at Foyt and they will likely run Penske drivers when they're ready to move up from NXT. Sounds promising to keep Foyt Racing going for now

You are correct it's the first run at it. And just for fun you only get 2 sets of alternates and you must use one in practice and the other in the race. I mean I guess you could use a used set in the race but why, assume they'll burn up the practice set to know.

And no, they cannot use the reds in Quali

Coyne seems the most probable place for him to land, but Devlin and Robb doesn't sound like a very promising lineup for Coyne. Will be interesting to see where Malukas ends up as he seems to be the best driver to have announced a change of teams (other than Palou......).

Gotta think Pagenaud is done in an Indy car then. Contract is up and he won't have raced in almost half the season. I guess the back half of the field could give him a shot but they're generally looking for money not to pay a guy.
