Footage of 1963 Le Mans
I've found an interesting 8min colour film of the 1963 Le Mans race (complete with Graham Hill & the Rover-BRM turbine car)at www.britishpathe.com
If you search on Le Mans you'll find it amongst outtakes etc. You have to register but to see/download a preview copy is free. It covers the race & the atmosphere away from the track & is presented in the inimitable Pathe newsreel style. The site has other racing clips including the 1930's races at Donington Park. It's worth a look but I don't know what the download times will be. |

There's some very interesting stuff here SJ, thanks for finding it for us. I'll certainly be investigating the Le Mans material - there appears to be quite a bit more in addition to the 1963 stuff you mentioned.
