hen henths should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I have to wonder if it will get hot enough, especially for the race distance tomorrow, to start to have a small effect on some of the drivers' human levels of performance. At the very least it must be a slight distraction. They're lucky it's not the Diamond Double at Snetterton this year!

Have JP and Cookie swapped identities for the day? Also 4 Beamers in the top 5.

BMW 1-2-3 , Turkington even without any hybrid, prepare for boost reduction (moaning) for BMW....

sure hope Dick Bennets has another talk to his drivers to avoid "miscommunication"

Cook out of championship battle maybe, only 22th , Sutton only 11th

Hybrid rules really working well....oh wait no they're a joke. BMWs in top 3 places. Another boring race day ahead tomorrow then.

Yeah, not great for Cook. Perhaps the problem lies with his car.

WSR in another league. Maybe they'll fry their tires in the races...

Congrats Colin. The BMW doesn’t traditionally go well around Snet but it seems to have had a resurgence.

Turkington was on pole last year after Shedden was disqualified.

It's a little disappointing to have the BMWs dominating qualifying again, but I am so pleased to see Jason Plato in sixth on the grid. Hopefully he will get a win tomorrow, with the reversed-grid race most likely. Add that to Rowbottom, Chilton and Collard in the top ten and I am generally pleased with the grid.

Snetterton is my most-regularly visited track so it is a shame not to be able to go this season, although possibly lucky as the heat is even worse than last year when I thought I had covered myself in sun cream but returned home to find a bright red stripe down my neck which had just been missed. I suppose they call it Sunny Snetterton because it is always on the hottest day of the year, except in 2018 when it didn't rain for over a month and then on Snetterton race day suddenly rained extremely heavily and sideways, contributing to that amazing battle between Jack Goff and Ash Sutton.

Why? There are three races to complete tomorrow before jumping to any conclusions about boost levels.

That issue was resolved some time around the 25 April - why does it warrant a nearly four months later?

Maybe. It will be tough for Cook from there, particularly with Honda's weakness in higher temperatures. Sutton in 11th is no real issue, he can still get a good haul of points from there.

Why do you thing the hybrid rules are not really working? It's always been possible for the car with the highest championship handicap to still set the fastest pace. And conditions suit RWD at the moment.
At least you can save yourself the time if you already know it will be another boring day.
Many others think that the racing has been entertaining lately.

The Honda's Achilles heel has always been running in higher temperatures. Unfortunately [from Honda's perspective], the current ambient only makes it worse for FWD cars. It's going to be a tough day tomorrow to match the RWD tyre advantage - expect to see many FWD drivers having to move out to get clear air along the straights.

As a question, is there much point in changing back though? Assuming the 01 chassis is good condition.

Arguably he's had better results in the old car that he had at the start of the year in the new car.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before someone (and we all know who) posts a load of stats to prove/disprove that.

Maybe it'll rain tomorrow..!

If Turkington can get a double win, and gap Hill, it'll be his championship to lose.

The only rain you`ll be seeing tomorrow are the tears from the front wheel drive teams complaining about the BMW for the thousandth time.

such a pthetic reasoning for penalty, TOCA must be unhappy with results yet some claim they want BMW to win this year
