Interesting, has anyone else noticed that the online IMSA Store has disappeared? Upon typing in the direct link in a browser bar, I am greeted with a message stating that the website is potentially dangerous and unsafe. Of course, upon proceeding to the website after all that, I see a "URL Not Found" message.

Strange, I only just noticed this a few days ago, hopefully they can get it back up and running in time for the holiday season.

Cool, but this post probably belongs in that 2017 year in review thread..which should get more activity than it has!


For 2018 what do you think about the idea of Chan DC running a car full time. Pretty neat eh?

GTLM looks to be set already as far as full season goes. Although I'm sure we could hear stuff about Porsche and Ford adding 3rd and/or 4th cars for the 36 hours of Daytona. And the possibility of Aston Martin and Af Corse entering cars.

GTD will probably get more activity over the winter months, even the spring. A lot of these programs are not finalized until after Sebring in fact. Sort of like the Turner BMW and Alegra Porsche. Those were not confirmed full season entries until after the 36 hours of florida.

I wouldn't be so sure about that (beyond Daytona/Sebring) as the budgets are just too high. If you haven't heard of them sniffing around the class already, the odds of them showing up as a surprise are basically zero.

Hope I'm wrong though as I'd like to join a lineup for the endurance races and rite now there isn't enough seats available.

I don't believe so - Hartley and Senna fulfilled those roles during the recent Petit so there could be an opening for Button although the two aforementioned where excellent additions to the driving squad - if I were ESM I would resign them in a heartbeat (schedules allowing).
