Yup, happens. I would think the only reason to stop them being allowed would be if the performance difference was too great.
Love the Audi......

The incident with Cliffs Jag at Paddock from a following car.
Change of underwear required immediately I imagine.
Pretty incredible to avoid barriers.

Thanks for posting that video as it may help us work out what happened to the brakes, as it looks like the rear may have locked up first.
It’s not my car, but it looks like I came close to buying it

Just in case anyone hasn't seen the links from CSCC:
not my usual but sometimes I like the result 1/30's
Before you all say WTF. . . . . this was a 1953 concept - Cadillac race car, built by hand (one off) from original drawings - guy raced it in a one hour race and believe me - he REALLY had to work it.
So pretty on track

Thanks for the pics, David- especially of the Audi....
The Cadillac Le Monstre is familiar to some tenthers, especially our delta, who co-drove it at Le Mans Classic with the owner / builder Derek Drinkwater in 2018. Amusing shot of it alongside the tiny Ginetta!

Good pics David, you're absolutely right the driver was working overtime just to keep it in a straight line! Talk about oversteer, never seen so much wheel twirling! I hate to be a killjoy but in the interests of safety I was surprised that it was allowed to compete after watching the aircraft carrier antics in qualifying. Top marks to Delta for giving it a twirl at Le Mans.

In fact he won his class as the E type crashed, the 999 mustang was black flagged for safety and the 41 mustang was a DNF.
Got a trophy aswell. To win, first you got to finish.Or however the saying goes
As it said in the programme it certainly counted as his 5 a day .
