Not looking good for getting out. UCLAN can't do it as it is too long a weekend. Testing Sat with the race on Monday. They don't want to be away for Bank holiday weekend.

Car is ready with new tyres and 2 eager drivers but no one to run the car...any offers?

I can't believe that this is actualy the reason the car will not be racing!!!! Because its to long a weekend!!!! If it is true I thought these UCLAN students where studying motorsport? Don't think they quite understand Motorsport and the commitment involved yet

You should give onlineweather a try as they have a handy section dedicated to weather forcasts for all uk circuits. The address is www.onlineweather.com .

High Tower should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I wish to clarify the situation as to why UCLAN Racing will not be spannering Chris Hodgens Car this weekend. I am a student who runs Chris's car. We have told Chris that we can't run his car this weekend because we have an exam on friday and have to move out of our student flats on saturday. The stundents are trying to put chris Van Diemen back together at the minute and the suggestion that we are un-proffesional has not gone down very well.

Get your facts straight before you post on this site.

If the post is having a go at me then I will take my cars out from the Uni and you can have all weekends free....

The students were keen to run the car but due to the above couldn't do it. Nick from UCLAN and another student who lives in Preston (didn't have to move out of digs) called Simon were working on making it for the weekend but because it is a bank holiday they couldn't get baby sitters for the weekend as it is a bank holiday. Which is why the post said because the weekend was too long....

I can't speak for others on thethread but I can assure you I apprecate your efforts for supporting the club.I am sure nobody on this thread was being critical of you or your team.I to will be not be at Snett to marshal the pits due to medical reasons.
Hope you will be able to come out to play at the next round redracer77.

any links for a race report or something for Britsports? The EERC site only caters for Britars...

You'll find most Britsports races reported on dailysportscar.com, though it's a subscription site. My report of the Pembrey Britsports race was on the EERC site initially, though you'll probably have to search for it now.

I know that Mark Dishman filed a report of the Snetterton race to both dsc and the EERC site, but pre-ambles to Le Mans and the 'Ring 24 hrs have meant that time and space have limited inclusion.

We wil try at least to feature reports on EERC site in future.

Cheers Steve! Actually I have searched the EERC site and found nothing (it is a bit of a adventure to search it though). Anyway, I know all about DSC and their excellent work so I will look for it there.

BTW as you can guess I am mostly interested for Andreas Halkiopoulos perfomance, apparently he did quite good until he retired.

Andreas - what a star! He certainly livened things up, in the paddock, and on the track.

He was mega-quick, and exciting to watch. It's a pity that the car gave him trouble. I'd like to see more of him in the UK.

When James and John have fully recovered from their weekend at the 'Ring, I'll ask them about publishing Mark Dishman's Snetterton report on the EERC site.

Very happy to hear good things about Andreas, as far as I know he will do all the championship.

Thanks again for your interest!

Why not post a race report here? (Even a synopsis would do.) I guess that there's no renumeration in it ...
hmmm..It might help encourage the grid

interested to read who how and what ....

Alec, Del Delaronde posted my Britcar report here, and it was removed by the moderator. Too long, and in reality, inappropriate for a discussion forum.

We will havc to find a way to post reports on the EERC site.
