Perhaps we are all wasting our time, and talents, the words, pearls and swine come to mind, although I would hasten to add that the word 'swine' should not be taken as a reflection on the aforementioned Tim. I am sure that the gentleman is of outstanding natural beauty. Just wondering Tim. bauble |

You could go all cross-marque and paint it in that mainstay of American muscle cars, Grabber Orange:
#70 Mustang, Trans Am racing, CTMP 2013 by Richard Wintle, on Flickr Full* of good** ideas, me. *only one, not full at all **"good" is a relative term Slightly more seriously, I always liked the Group 44 colours: 1981 Group 44 Jaguar XJS by Richard Wintle, on Flickr I also liked this Muscle Milk livery from the Trans Am series a few years back - silver and yellow, very sharp: #6 Jaguar XKR, at speed by Richard Wintle, on Flickr This blue-with-a-yellow-stripe livery is attractive, too: 1963 E-type Jaguar by Richard Wintle, on Flickr Finally, the recent ALMS JaguarRSR pseudo-works-supported livery is really sharp: Rocketsports Racing Jaguar XKRS, Mosport by Richard Wintle, on Flickr I'll stop now. I see the PP Pink is catching up with the EE Blue. Better stop the poll before you're committed.

Right, pink it is Tim.
You'll have to update the overalls and helmet as well of course. Should be able to find a wig somewhere without too much trouble. There's someone around here who has had a series of very pink cars over the years - mostly regular shopping stuff and not changed often. I think an early Mondeo was the first I can properly recall. Anyway, the same shade has now appeared on a Boxster. Have to admit it stands out from the crowd. |

There's a pair of pink Honda JAzz parked on Worthing seafront outside a Pink B&B. both cars have pink fluffy interiors, probably not fireproof though before you get any ideas!

This reminds me that in my home town (Kingston, Ontario, Canada) there was someone who drove a pink E-type. Used to see it parked in the K-Mart parking lot from time to time (yes, really).
My wife has long been of the opinion that the only good Porsche is a pink one. She wanted a candy-pink 959 at one point. |

A regular at one of our local pub meets bought a pink V12 E type at auction because no-one else bid for it. "It's not pink it's heather!" Same colour combo as Cliff's.

Anyway Iain, I thought you were on holiday in the Canaries, I take it you must have some free time and wifi ? |

"The Cat", is that some old hippy term for Sue? Mobile chippy, that's a thing from the past or so I thought. We used to drive up to Bricklayers arms where there was a chip stall in the side of a building in Dunton Rd, they used to do the best savaloy and chips going. It's all since been pulled down and now a Tesco.
