Well done, Charles Leclerc. This was so likely to come fairly soon rather than later and I am ruing not picking him for pole and getting 3 points in the predictions contest. I fell into the trap of thinking he'll get there, but Vettel is still a formidable team-mate rather than going with my earlier impression that he will start to achieve things very early on.
He can absolutely beat Vettel in the race. He has the head for it. You could still say Mercedes have the long-run pace, though, so it might come down to a) strategy b) overtaking. A great race potentially in store, then. |
