Funny how your memory plays tricks on you sometime. I could have sworn there were at least a couple of DRM races at Donington . Checking up I see just the one non-championship Group 5 race in 1980 won byKlaus Ludwig in a Zakspeed Capri. There were a couple of BMW M1 Procar races in 1979 and 1980 and if it is the DRM we think it is , it will be mega to see 935s etc round Donington once again .

No one we’ve ever heard of then! There’s a few M1s in Peter Auto CER series, plus 935s, and I guess several in Germany racing there. And there is, of course, a replica Zak Capri in the UK, built and raced by the well known Capri specialist. Thinking about it, there’s a lot of appropriate cars in Europe- let’s hope we see a few of them!
