https://www.youtube.com/user/V8SupercarsOfficial/videos
This is the link to the V8 Supercars channel where can be found videos of all of the previous practice sessions. I think they were streamed live as well at the time but not sure as I never caught any of them. I have not found any mention of the race being streamed so far. And for a bit of wider entertainment try this from 8 years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLkLtBkUVuo&t=195s "Team BOC's Jason Bright gave NASCAR great Darrell Waltrip his first taste of a V8 Supercar today, taking him for some hot laps around Mount Panorama." |

Just for info, for those being in Lyon's area on the 8/10th of November Epoqu'auto is a nice show comparable to what Rétromobile was back in the day. Less Paris area hassle… If you ask me, I'm sparing money to attend Autosport and meet Andy there! So exotic!

Yes, the Supercars YouTube channel is easy to find, but there’s no mention yet of the race being shown live...
Watching FP7- cars will be worn out before they start! Got to love a race that has ‘Chopper Cam’- only in Australia..... |

Saw this programme ad for the Bathurst 1000 earlier on Fox TV (the official payTV broadcaster) here but now its on their facebook. Its a few minutes long, and brilliant. Must see stuff. Enjoy.

Do I get the impression that some kind of car race is taking place somewhere far away?

I shall instead go to Brussels twice in a week, even if it is home to the enemy HQ! On the 8 Nov there is a press event for the forthcoming So British! exhibition at the excellent Autoworld Museum, & the following weekend it is Interclassics Brussels. I still hope to see you in Paris in February however. I shall be keeping a very tight hold on my wallet this time! |

Hope too. Mind you that if you say "My wallet has been stolen in Pigalle area" many will smile, thinking you had a deal with a whore or a transvestite! Negotiate is essential!!

Did anyone see the Ginetta GT4 Supercup race in ITV4 this afternoon? Wtf was Colin White doing getting out of the car on the grid with the 30 sec board showing?? V dangerous. The start should have been abandoned imho and he should have been removed from the grid for being a pillock! |

Agreed! Also, what was he thinking by overtaking all those cars on the way to starting grid? Which brings to mind something that has been puzzling me for some time - why, and since when, has a green flag had two purposes? I cannot understand why it is waved throughout what is now known as the "green lap" which the cars take to form up on the grid ready for the start, when cars have to drive in single file just as they would do behind a safety car. And then, once the lights have gone off or the safety car, or virtual safety car, is no longer controlling the race, it is used to indicate that the cars are free to race. To me, it would be more logical to show waved yellows on the formation lap. |

Further to my post, I have regularly been on grids where the 30 sec board is never an indication of 30 secs to go!!! The red lights could have come on almost instantly after the 30 sec board has been withdrawn. It happens. And then there could have been mayhem if the race had started with him still out of the car, trying to get in the car, door open etc.
I find it virtually impossible to do my own belts up without help. Can anyone be sure White was properly strapped in; how does anyone know the belts were properly over the HANS device? |

Anybody interested in Motorcycles ? I filmed this at the weekend down in the sun, I happened completely by accident to get them returning to Mojacar later on my dashcam so used it in the video. Sorry about the quality of the dashcam but it was about a 30th of the price of the other one I was using

I remember sneaking into the Easy Rider movie underage when it came out. (It was x rated and I was a year 'too young' to watch it legally)
