SteveH should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Top Hat type series for 1980s saloons?

Any one heard of a 2 driver series with long distance races being started next year for 80s saloons in the UK?

Actually the CTCRC run one hour two river races. But only one or two per year.

I don't think it is a JT Series.
I know the CTCRC run one or two 1 hour races, but I think you'd agree that 1 hour races tend to be better value for money than 10-15 lap sprints. As for the format all I heard was long distance races. I guess an hour is a normal long distance race.
Wondered if anyone had heard anything and if anyone was thinking of doing it.

Well Top Hat races are one-hour. The format works but the sprint format is also more of a reflection of Touring Car Racing in the seventies and eighties.
