Help with Mugello

Went to Imola recently for WSBikes, what a place, talk about racing through your back garden!! Anyway, this got me thinking. As there's always cheap flights to Forli, the hotel we got was superb and we were told it was only around 80kms to Mugello,I'm looking into what's said to be one of the best MotoGP rounds of the season for 2004.Can anyone offer advise as to what it's like to go there for viewing, grandstands & if there's a better way to do the trip.Much appreciated!!

I know someone who went testing recently there and he said they needed a hire car as there was not much nearby plus there were no nearby flights so it sounds like you've already cracked the transport
