Hm, could it be that it's tied to JAF's announcement of a new car for GT300? Hoping that they bring a new version of the Mother Chassis.

On the other hand, I think we need to know who will be taking over Jenson Button's vacant seat.

In SGT File magazine, Takeshi Tsuchiya talked about the next gen MC.
However, there are no rumors about the next gen MC so far.
In the worst case, Tsuchiya might switch the chassis to FIA-GT3 next season.

According to Shintaro Watanabe (#2 engineer) facebook page,
Kazuho Takahashi retires from SGT by this season.
But we will see Lotus Evora GT300 also in next season.

According to jp.motorsport.com,
the reason Tsuchiya change the chassis is not a lack of rigidity, but a lack of speed.
Therefore, there is a great possibility that they will change to FIA-GT3, IMO.

They had good pace in qualifying but often fades in the middle of the race.
Personally, still putting hopes on Lotus Evora MC. Hopefully the team can find another pro driver that replaced Kazuho Takahashi & be competitive.

Do you think they will run a Japanese make of GT3? Maybe another Lexus RC F? I actually hope another team runs McLaren's 720 GT3.

@TF110

Maybe they used RC F GT3, coz Tsuchiya Engineering also managed MAX Racing which used Lexus RC F GT3 , although their team used to be participate Super Taikyu .

While they also retain their driver lineup. Matsui also TGR racing driver in Nurburgring race. Plus Kimiya Sato also drove Lexus RC F GT3 as well in Super Taikyu

Accoring to Akio Toyoda's comment,
current 6 Toyota GT500 teams will continue to participate also in next season.
