Of course... but I suggest it's time to make some changes in Porsche management. Their time's over!

Second race, second win for Porsche in Donington! What a great week-end for Porsche! Congratulations to IMSA and Autorlando for their magnificent races!

Too bad only 17 cars started in race 1 and just 16 in race 2.

Nice 1-3 again though for the Porsches.

@HORNDAWG, have you seen on which article/source egmCarTech based their article?

Quote:
According to sources that spoke with AutoCar
Source: AutoCar
Also a reason for the delay is the fact that sales are pretty slow at the moment (economy and so on). The result of this is that there are a lot of unsold F430's around. When Ferrari's says they are delaying the introduction of the new model and that the Spider version will be introduced even later the stock of F430's can be sold.

My guess is Ferrari will introduce the new F450 at Geneve in March.

But it might be that Michelotto is already developing the F450 GT2 behind the scenes for a 2010 introduction. Who will know...

Well it's 3 for 3 for the Ferrari F430 over the Porsche 997 in the significant enduros this year. So the improvements in the 997s speed have seemed to cost some reliability and also have led some of the Porsche pilots to make major blunders. So while the 997 is certainly better this year, the F430 is holding up pretty well for a car on its last legs.

What next , oh ignorance is bliss !!!

That is a type of emergency door , a quick release in case of an accident . If the door wont open cuz its crushed , it will when the hinge pin comes out .

There is a lever inside the cockpit , when activated it draws the hinge pin outta the hinge and the hinge will then seperate and the door falls off . The lever is normally secured with copper wire so it cant be activated by accident . Obviously the safety wire wasnt presant !!!

I thought you woulda known about that , its called the Bell mod .

Sigh... Well congrats to Ferrari.

The biggest thing that has been upsetting me is Porsches driver lineups. They could get 1 or 2 cars absolutly STACKED between Berg,Long,Henzler,Collard, but instead they split these guys up and have a bunch of mediocre cars. I think this is why we have been losing the big races but dominating the small ones. All of the small races have cars with stacked drivers, but come the big races they split them up with guys 8+seconds off the pace. Then in lemans they give us one car, and it runs out of fuel. Bergs car had the pace with him but that one driver was like 10seconds slower! WTF Porsche. Its like they are trying to hand the wins to Ferrari.

The 60 Porsche at Spa was far from Mediocre, Westbrook and Collard were fast as expected, Edwards set the cars best lap time and was always blindingly fast, and O' Young was maybe a second or so off the pace of the other 3, but still for the last 12 hours of the race it was consistantly the fastest car on track, if it wasnt for getting punted off by the #1 Massarati that broke the right rear suspension, i have no doubt they would have won.
