greenboy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
New game at Anglsey.

There's a new game for pre 90 formula ford drivers being held on Sat/Sun 20/21 May.It's called "Enduro Park Ferme",the rules are quite simple ,on Saturday you arrive at the circuit at 8am and stay there until 5pm and on the Sunday due to Sunday hours you arrive at the circuit at 8am and stay until 4pm.You can have all this entertainment for the small sum of £260 +Travel Costs+Hotel Costs. All cheques to be made payable to the Leinster Motor Club, late entries will not be entertained as the Organisers will be on early Sunday boat home whilst we continue with our "FUN DAY".What a farce, what happened to the one day meetings we have asked for and which the circuit organiser has always recommended.

Having been in greenboy's company today, a bit of clarification is needed. The gist of his 'gripe' is that in the Timetable, he received yesterday, it shows a qualifying session Saturday a.m. and a race Saturday p.m and then he hangs about for his second race Sunday p.m.
He was unaware that having spotted this yesterday, I have arranged for LMC to schedule a second qualifying session on Sunday a.m.
Anyway, his bee has now fluttered out of his bonnet a little bit, so his problem has basically gone away.
His comment re one day meetings is worthy of consideration though. Our two previous meetings there this year have been one day and have reduced the competitors expenditure considerably.

With this being an "Irish" meeting though, how many of the foreign competitors would want to come over for just one day - hardly seems worth it, does it? I'm assuming they've all got double headers to justify the cost?
I bet neither the club would come over for a 1-day meeting either, it wouldn't be worth the cost of them to come over.

I can understand why some competitors prefer one-day meetings, but there's always some that, for differing reasons, need to be over multiple days, and surely this is one?

Perhaps the solution would have been to have both Pre 1990 races on one day and both Post 1989 events on the other.

Sometimes all competitors need reminding that race meetings cannot be organised around their championship alone.

IIRC, the CFF(NW) round was added in after the initial calendar was announced?
And I'm sure there's been LMC meetings in previous years without as many UK 'support' races as this year...

As regards with Ian's idea of both races on the same day, it's the age old argument - 2 races on the same day isn't good if something breaks in the 1st race versus the extra cost to the competitor of staying over. But that's been debated enough times!!
