IMSA Performance Matmut is considering a move to P2 at some point in the future. More here.

I suppose the decision point would be next year, as their existing Porsche 997s are getting rather long in the tooth.

As some of you will have heard on MWM tonight, Jota Sport have found an adequate replacement for Filipe Albuquerque at spa and Le Mans.

I mean, this Marc Gene fella sounds like a quick guy to me ...

Was wondering when Alex Premat's plans would start to be revealled. Hes doing the V8 enduros later in the year.

Weight, fuel flow and maximum drive time of 45 minutes; all to try and keep them behind the older GTE cars

they're running the full mistral straight, if that's any help. it's a few degrees colder than it was on saturday, there's almost no wind at all and there's no sun.

A few heavily damaged cars out there it seems, I thought Paul Ricard was liked so much because it is so difficult to find a wall there? Was poor Martin Matzke's accident at the same circuit?

Race Performance wrecked their car which is a shame as they had some interesting drivers there. At least it was the boss who did it.

Jon Lancaster has moved to the Greaves car this evening.

Impressive from Nathanael Berthon to be quickest right off the bat. I doubt he's even got close to his potential.

Acording to the times the Zytek is starting to be a little bit slow compared with the Oreca and the Morgan prototypes, that aero needs a little upgrade or they will be out of the fight.

with the greatest of respect to berthon, he only once provided a race drive of note in 2 years in 3.5 and didn't leave a lasting impression in gp2. he seemed to be a deliver in testing, not able to find the same pace in race and quali sort of a driver. he'd be a decent signing if he's got a bit of a wallet though, definitely compared to some of the guys who are finding their way over from single seaters.

have i missed it, or are they not running the elms races into the evening this season?

Im just putting two and two together here but ..... TKS has recently relocated his living to New York state , funnily enough where Dyson is based . TKS is driving with Dyson in the Greaves Zytek ..... and Dyson & Greaves have some news coming soon is the rumour .

I reckon TKS will be part of any Dyson campaign .
