Me, just the once and I will be returning next year

Add Daytona 24 twice and Spa 24 once, so 24 x 24's in total.

Started as a student in 85 and 86. Somehow missed out until 1995, then inexplicably missed out some great races until returning in 1999, then every year since. So that makes seven (out of 18 possibles). Don't intend on missing another one though.

97 onwards... like LMP900 I'm a Panoz fan, coincidentally my first visit was the same year as Panoz's.

From 2000 onwards have started going to the PQ weekend as well- can't get enough of La Sarthe!

Plus this year I went 3 times!! (PQ, LM + Classique)

Only four times so far, but I suspect I've got a few more in me yet. The scary thing is, the more often I go to Le Mans, the more confident I get with exploring the rest of France, and I'm enjoying that part of it more and more.

Incidentally, the "Michel Vallient" movie is in post-production, and is scheduled to be in cinemas in Europe round the time of the next 24 hour race. I may wait until I can find a copy with subtitles. I'm not that confident just yet.

I don't want to hijack Rob's thread with too much about the film (there's another old thread on this buried somewhere if anyone wants to dig it up), but I heard somewhere - probably here - that there was only about 5 minutes action from Le Mans 2002 to be shown in the film? Anyone know if that's correct?

I doubt if they're even close to a finished final edit yet, so we shall have to wait and see. It does seem an awful lot of expense and effort to go to for just five minutes' footage, I must say.

My LM races : 1972, 1977, 1978, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002... very few ! Missed a lot when I went to the motorbike's race (80').

The Michel Vaillant movie could only have 10' about LM race...
