With rain possible tomorrow, Toyota should at least put in a banker tonight.

I don't think that the distance record will be in serious jeopardy unless we get a bit of luck this year. Compared to 2010, every years since has had more FCYs/pace cars, and since 2014, slow zones.

And based on FP1 with so many cars spinning or going off the road, unless track conditions improve, I'd expect quite a few slow zones, and maybe FCYs and pace cars in the race.

In my opinion, given what happened last year, and prior falling downs, you have to feel like they should focus on a clean, safe pace, and if that brings the distance record along with the win, then so be it. If they had three cars I could see sending one out as the rabbit, but not with only two cars.
