Electrical problems in qualifying, so Jamie Morrow didn't make the cut.

Some huge creeping at the start of that race, the bloke starting directly in front of my standing position had moved over half a length before the lights went out and no punishment at all from what I saw!

BTW I think it was car 7 that was creeping, I'll check the video later.

di resta? red and silver car.
second race was superb, if you watched the back bunch of cars rather than the front. top notch overtaking stuff. |

Yeah think it was red and silver.
But i'm tired! So my memory might not be all that! Looked like a few moves going on into paddock but at the fron it was pretty spaced out! |

so we have Hamilton ahead on 351
With Rossiter on 285 after dropping 20pts Lloyd is currently on 279 with a 20 pt loss Sisley on 266 after his low finish in race 1, which actually didnt really affect his score With 4 races left, Hamiltons score looks catcable. He has the most to loose if he fails to finish, after 2 dnf's already Last edited by Rocktracer; 25 Aug 2003 at 20:14. |

especially if one of the others fail to finish - that'll give them a better score to drop, right?
regarding creeping at the start, it's the same throughout the single seaters at least. video system or not, i've stood right in front of people leaving their grid positions some time before the lights went out this year. no penalties or anything. |

Incidentally why was Sisley given a 10 second penalty in race one?
I assumed it was for jump starting but if its common practice then what was it? |

Hope Jenson will consider giving another Him another run.
Who else didn't make the cut? Interesting research ive done and will hopefully bring a smile to Jenson's face Mussi did a 46.315 in Fortec car in August and he did 47.389 in a Jenson in May. However the fastest in qualifying 45.265 in May and a 44.772 in August So in conclusion Same driver (Mussi) will get a similar performance from both cars, taking in to account gaining experience .... in theory... IM OPEN TO BE CORRECTED Last edited by Rocktracer; 25 Aug 2003 at 20:54. |

oh yes, and the point's well made. i think it's fairly clear that someone should make a better job of the fortec car.
not really that much to get wrong in formula renault though, so i don't know where people are coming from with their remarks about competitiveness of jensen's cars. |

probably trying to salvage something from a terrible weekend. you never know, carry on going and you might get a point. but it wasn't worth it and he figured that quite quickly.

I only saw him pulling against the wall and was giving the guy benifit of doubt.
mind you I did find it funny with the nose box under the car.. I must have been half asleep but was his car the cause of the safety car? or was it some other cars out on, sorry off the track!! |

There was a lot of creeping on the line as both Pual and Craig have said, saying that I had the same view as them, as I was stood next to the both of them........
But I have too say I thought both FRenult races where crackers, but they always are IMO |
