I really don't understand the ire that gets leveled at Belle Isle. Yes, it's not Road America, and no, it doesn't have palm trees like Long Beach. But seriously, the racing there isn't THAT bad, especially since they went back to the long course in 2013. "A Monaco-style parade", no, that would be the 1982 variant of the downtown street circuit, maybe.
