Rockingham

Thought this might be a good place to ask you about the new rockingham cicuit.
Is it any good .
It sounds quite impresive and look's it too

OK a few question's:-
Why has'nt this circuit been considered for a future F1 race, either GB or European .
The location of the circuit could'nt be better.



Champ Cars is it worth going to see these, the turbo charged engine bit raised my eye brows .

CART races are fabulous, you can talk to the pilots and get their autographs even if you don't have a seven figure bank balance or a 38DD I.Q., and the cars are a lot faster and the racing a lot closer.

Likely the reason the F1 cars don't race there is because it's an oval.

I do know that Rockingham was seriously considered for the GP with all the hassle about Silverstone / Brands.. So it may happen!!

Rockingham has a 'road' circuit also, so it could hold the GP...

Recently announced the Coys Festival will be held there next year, races will be held on both the oval and race circuit... Should be an awesome weekend...

From my dealings with the people at Rockingham, the administration seems even more incompetant than the BRDC and Silverstone
