Declared my support for the 24 car in LMP2 ever since the line-ups were announced, now it seems I have to oblige and buy a full set of team merchandise besides this.

Well, some news about the visit to help you for your timetable.
The visit will start at 14h00 . 2 groups will be welcome until 14h40. The cameras could be accepted in the garage, It will depend of the state of the cars ( taken apart a lot or not).

Every year I've been so far, I'd have had to pinch myself multiple times for being in these inner sanctuaries of these teams, standing up close to the beasts...
And then OAK racing ! One of the best lookin' liveries, combined with the drama of the popping and banging, short exhaust V8...

Yes, Cameras will normally be allowed . It could be forbidden if there are indiscreet works to be done. We'll know when we 'll visit.

I think Eric was just referring to the geographical convenience of Oak being based in his home town....which just happens to be the 'Mecca' of sportscar racing for many of us.

Eric has been working on this since before Le Mans last year. And, (now that the team is sadly no more) I'm sure he won't mind me revealing that he was in negotiations with Pescarolo before that, in an attempt to secure a garage visit for us with the team last year. For logistical reasons, this was eventually not possible, and his efforts sadly came to nought.

Yes, Eric has been working VERY hard, and over a long period of time, on our behalf......
