Agree, 3 rounds in China for a 10-round calendar is way too much. Circuit choice in 2018 is actually awful for truly good racing. Surprised Hyundai hasn't pushed for a Korean round yet. |

China and US is where the big money is. Not old and decadent Europe. US doesn't give a crap about European based racing series and China is still a market to explore. Eurosport Events follows the money. I can't see Brands Hatch or Imola opening the cheque book to host WTCR events anymore.

Morbidelli is better than that car.

I talked to Giovanardi during races at WTCR.
He said "if FIA allow us to re-project the car" couple of times. Giovanardi knows how to develop great car, and because of freezed homologation, Romeo Ferraris is stuck with this 'creation' until 2019. |

He knew, but that is a long time ago. Times have changed drastically since then, so to me he has to prove himself again. I have the feeling time has caught up with him and he hasn't proven me wrong yet in both BTCC and WTCR.

The substitute for Morbidelli is Kevin Ceccon. Terrible.

BoP guys here have no idea what are they doing.
First they let Hyundai dominate, then they put insane amount of BoP for Zandvoort, then Huff scores 2 very close poles and now VW is dead last and Hyundai dominate again?! In BTCC we almost always have 20+ cars in one second, and during qualifying for Paul Ricard 1000km 30 cars were in one second... And here only 3 cars in one second and guess what they are Hyundai's, except for Bjork who didn't drive half of the session... |

In BTCC playing with the boost is also terrible but still the championship is very close and there are no situations when someone dominates and next weekend is dead last. I believe BoP really sucks in WTCR.

Compensation weight is written in the rules (although I sincerely don't understand how it is calculated). Huff and Bennani had the change to grab a lot of points but lost it themselves. Shame that good lap worked against them. Another thing is that BRC guys were a second faster than YMR, which is strangem, probably was due to excellent setup. I wonder, whether Borkovic will continue to moan about BoP |

3 illegal cars do not play nice for Hyundai reputation and credibility.

Interesting read — https://www.touringcartimes.com/2018...hows-slovakia/
The whole thing could blow up in their faces if the FIA and WSC are not careful. In essence, WSC weren't/aren't very good at BoP management, the FIA then butted in with a grey-area boost rule. Now neither has the higher ground. |

This reminds me of that Pau race in 2008 or 2009 when the SEAT Leon TDi was dominating everything and the FIA issued some kind of “max boost tolerance” rule (from memory it was some kind of variable which I dare say SEAT were stretching to the limit) and it resulted in SEAT basically having to run a lower boost for the first time and then they threw their toys out of the pram because Alfa, BMW Honda could actually compete.
I don't wish to labour the point and its all said and done now, but that whole SEAT TDi debacle was precisely that, a joke. |

Stefano Comini was set to drive Vukovic Renault Megane in WTCR, but the car wasn't ready (like it's ready now ) |

We may have the start of the end of WTCR era. Eurosport Events and WSC are together in same ship but they are not the best friends. False information is easy to get removed. The truth is a lot harder. |
