Questions!

I have decided that we need some major Australian input to the ParcFerme section of 10/10ths, which means I am going to have to get up the nerve to interview two drivers in the V8Supercar series.

I intend to do a "top ten" question sheet, which would be given to one Ford driver, and one Holden (I am not sure as to which drivers I am going to ask, I guess it will depend on availability).

So, this is where you all come in...

What would you like me to ask? What questions would you like answered?

Pose the questions here, and we will pick the best 10.

I need to have the whole thing ready to go by the Calder round of the series.

Generally, the sort of stuff I'd ask in an interview would go along the lines of-

Present- How are you going at the moment/what do you put your success down to?

Past- Ask something about their highlights and lowlights from the past year etc, or something controversial that happened at Eastern Creek

Future- Who are you driving with at Bathurst/how do you think you will go in the championship/the next race?

Favourites- I always like to ask what their favourite track out there is, or who is the hardest to pass etc.

A few links to some old interviews might give you a few ideas:

Plus there are a few more at http://www.uq.net.au/~zzgwalke/back.html

I'll pull my finger out too....I've been too busy lately to interview anyone because I've been writing race reports

A couple of thoughts.

How did you become involved in motorsport, or who got you involved.

What have you had to sell/sacrifice/steal to keep your motorsport career alive.

Go for the hard stuff,

Who would you like to see go from the V8 series (rodney doesnt count as an answer)

Would you rather be driving the oppositions product.

Would you rather be racing somewhere else.

well Diabando ...good luck but it depends on the driver ..

the usual questions are very good but if we want to stir the pot so to speak we need dirt on these guys...

questions like

whats the most stupidest thing you have ever done to go racing ?

how big is Mark Skaifes nose really ?

are some drivers actually like the way we see them on TV ...or are they real mongrels ?

stuff like that ..

Look forward to seeing the first interview.

I was actually hoping to interview a local V8 driver but sadly he turned me down because he was to busy

If you were in charge of AVESCO or CAMS - what would you change?

Where do you see The future of V8 Supercars going?

Do you think there should be more than 2 makes in Supercars?

Apart from themselves, Who are the top 5 drivers in their opinion?

Which one of the younger up & coming drivers could be a future ATCC.

What do they think of the different formats at different races (& why)?

What advice would they give for someone that wanted to race V8 Supercars? eg: career path

Who will win this years championship?

hats all for know, brain hurts , I'll sleep and try and think of some more
