Actually it is Harlow to Thruxton and Back to Harlow via Silverstone, Rockingham and Le Mans...

And before you ask I don't know either; no-one does exactly until the car get back to Harlow and remember to allow for petrol stations, Restraunts, and driving round at the circuits...

I checked on www.mapquest.co.uk and it varied between 1603 & 1289 so take your pick.

Take two! 1149 miles, so my money, or at least free beer, is on 1200 total.

I went for 800 miles, you have to look for the sensible route to get to the tracks in time for each days events, so I recon that after playing with autoroute for way too long! that I'm on to a winner :-)

Just realised we had not posted the answer here - it was 740.4 miles - there is a winner who was just 1.2 miles out!

Nice to hear that my guess would have made the trip this year and next with room to spare.

Bet the bugger stopped half way to sh*g his secretary in a cheap motel and listen in on RLM to write the report

I should have won.......

hehehe Sorry Simon, I didn't stop off anywhere - took the wrong turning twice (thanks to the Satnav) but no shaging shops - I doubt my co-driver would have apreciated that..

So it was you that was driving the car......

Did you have 1/2 size wheels on or what. Remain unconvinced about the stopoff en route. The delights of Paris ??? Or perhaps that English bar in Calais.

Cheers anyway, wait till next year

Well, I'd have got about as far as Calais then.

Good thing I was going anyway.

The route was Harlow to Rockingham to Silverstone to Portsmouth - Ferrry to Le Harve - Le Harve to Le Mans and Back - Ferry Le Harve - Portsmouth then a stop off at Thruxton on the way back to harlow.

Both Ferry Crossings were night boats.
