spearce should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
interesting to see the 917 photo, how were they able to race this in '81 when they were outlawed in the 70's ???

The site was held by volonteers, but turned to a professional activity ; public was really demanding, too much for what they could offer. And don't know much more, as I don't know them...

If I can remember - but I have to check - they adaptated the car to the 1981 rules. The car didn't have great success on the track, though ... except for fans !

The Kremer 917 was a "clone" built to the then-brandnew Gp.C regulations. Not a genuine 917 chassis.

Yes, if only they had got the gearing right. They guessed and went too long (I think). They were slower down the Mulsanne than any of the 917s had been in 1969-71!!
