It's gonna be 400 miles, beginning at 9PM (PT) on the Saturday night. That's a pretty late start!

As said above, another oval. This is good news, adds variety (as I always say!).

And a night race, again more variety!

I hope they can pull in a decent crowd in NASCAR country.

Wow that's a surprise move. Is there any hope that the race will get broadcasted LIVE in the US and Canada? I think it's great that we're getting another oval and a big one at that.

I think a REALLY good part is that the Trucks should mean that there will be people there because of the trucks race and an oportunity to grab some new fans. It would also help if the Trucks and CART were broadcasted back to back on the same station. Another positive is that perhaps we have a bit of a break in the battle between the France-related interests and CART.

The way I understand the Spike TV deal, we'll see it on the Sunday at 4 p.m. eastern...so don't hold your breath on Live TV....

I said "that's good news" in relation to Vegas.

However the original report mentioned Seoul also.

Tomorrow's Autosport magazine reports the race is off.

Expect an announcement later in the week.

But don't ever accuse me of negativity.

I watch every Champ Car race live and I am an enthusiastic supporter of it.

Well I'll be damned! I just woke up from a deep sleep and I'm not sure if this is for real or a dream. This is great news for us ChampCar fans who still enjoy oval racing and who feel it needs to be a part of this series future!!
