as this is the 2nd time Bahrain hosted GP2 this year someone should have put a 2 besides Bahrain. also its a Friday & Saturday race weekend so do not forgot that.

Race 1 is at 12.30pm next Friday and race 2 is Next Saturday at 7.45am

I looking forward to seeing how Rowland will get on with GP2 cars

Practice and Qualifying will be held on the Thursday.

Nice to have 4 days of motorsport action rather than 3.

I wonder want Sky will do as there was a tech issue at the start of GP2 and made me very angry (and this time everything on time therefore someone will be to be shouted at)

did you actually watch the rest of the race, or was the tv outage at the start the most entertaining bit?

it looked like a bit of an easy run for vandoorne on live timing, was that actually the case?

Commentator Oskari Saari told the GP2 during the race that Gustav Maila father is Finnish, but to Gustav probably does not speak Finnish language.

Matsushita looks very promising though. Should he remain at ART he could well be one to watch for certainly a top 5 in the championship. Good to see Evans and Marciello up there too, they've been underwhelming this season to say the least, Evans especially.

I caught up with both races last week and enjoyed them a lot.

Good racing throughout and 10 times better than the opening rounds I'm April!

The tyre management stuff does my head in though.

Agree, he is the first notable Japanese driver in the series, since Hiroki Yoshimoto.

To be fair to Mitch, the car has been underwhelming, not him.

I'm pretty sure the same can be said for Marciello too?

You don't become an also ran like this, he had already proved he was a strong driver. It would appear that Ferrari chose the wrong team for his season 2.

I hope he stay on and moves back to RE or another team, or Trident get a new race engineer for him.

Ferrari should keep him over Fuoco. Leclerc has apparently joined up though, he could even leapfrog Stroll in the pecking order, at least for next season.
