I'm not superstitious but if I was Toyota I'd of requested another pit box this year, the ones at the other end of the pitlane never did Audi any harm in the luck department

Porsche dropped the hammer in GTEPro. 3:50.9 is a tenth off pole from last year.

M8 has the highest turbo pressure. In mid-range rpm should be in the region of 700Nm

Porsche don't seem to be leaving much on the table. Compared to everyone else who look conservative compared to last year.

Who is running old engines, hard tires, full fuel, double stunting,and so on. I suspect far more to come from BMW, Corvette, Ferrari Coke the race, and we might even see something in qualifying.

If it was a tight twisty track it would make more sense. They're still producing power high up in the rev range. Short shifting probably only helps to mask their pace or save fuel.

their boost ratio table goes out to 7100rpm. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go up the time sheets at some point. Neither the team nor drivers have complained at their BOP since the test day.

Me too finds weird enough that bmw was charged with extra ballast even not being as fast as ferrari

Presumably, the software that is used to calculate BoP can take into account lift and coast, early upshifts etc.

SO many slow zones. Quite annoying. Though drivers are saying it's a greasy track so I guess it's catching them out.
