Tiga

Anyone got any info on 1977/78 TIGA Formula Ford 2000's?We have one that was raced in Belgium for a number of years before returning to the Uk.Was raced a few times by Amanda Whittaker. We can't find any period articles or photo's.or any previous history. We took the car to Silverstone a couple of weeks ago for the HSCC meeting and hope to have it out next year.Any info would be appreciated.Bob Saunders

The only 77 Tiga in the UK, I'm pretty sure, was the Rob Wilson car. He used it first half of that year, then swapped it for a Reynard. It wasn't very successful so didn't appear in many/any MN/AS reports. I assume its this car you have, Bob?

I knew Rob very well during that period. I'd love to read those articles if they still exist in any form anywhere, particularly around July/August 1977 when he switched from the Tiga to the Reynard.

I can help with those reports, please let me know. Rob wrote in "Motoraction" from late 1975 till early 81.
