7. Some interesting battles and strategy, although it didn't quite materialise into anything monumental. Suzuka is a great circuit and always fun to watch. Leclerc taking himself (and Verstappen) out of contention was a pity and didn't help.

5. Only saw the highlights (and that's becoming a broken record comment for me....). Disappointing for a Suzuka race as it's a circuit I love. But apart from a few incidents and the failed promise of a battle between Hamilton and Vettel at the end, not too much more to say for it, other than seeing more of Lee McKenzie on the TV is always a pleasure.....

7. I was feeling a bit whoozy in a warm room after a tiring day yesterday, but the race quickly woke me up. Not the absolute greatest I'll agree, but the different tyre strategies were interesting and the pressure by Hamilton on Vettel at the end.

Gave it 7 - it was odd - nothing really wrong with the race, a great track, lots of overtaking throughout the field, lots of strategy, but it still just felt a bit flat.....
I think the hesitant stewarding and the team management of the result didn't help. |

Terrible. I read the race was fixed by Mercedes. Why can’t I vote a zero.

5 from me. It was alright, but nothing more.

Eight. Lots of action on a beautiful track and I didn't have to get up early.

After thinking about it, even the 5 i gave it was a bit much. The stewarding was lacking, (in any other sport, moving before the 'GO' IS a false start, even if you didn't go very far; the Verstappen - Leclerc incident and how that was handled, the Albon- Norris incident, the Perez-Gasly incident... which now technically didn't happen), the lack of overtaking at the front... and I woke up early for that...

5. Although there were some good moments, it didn't really get exciting

6. Agree that there were things to like but turned out fairly average.
Due to the time zone i was able to watch quali live but fell asleep by the time the race start....that is nobody's fault but mine but i think even if it was on during the daytime for me it still would have been difficult. Quali followed by alanlysis, followed by pre race, race and then post race...several hours of programming is too much imo. As experiments go, a new race weekend format/quali and race on the same day was a bit of a fail imo. Im sure some loved it but im not a fan of binge watching. |
