I was at Monza, all competitor ECU’s were checked. No issues were found, the results stand. I was at the prize giving presentation where Josh Files received his trophy. He is a worthy champion and beat them all fairly.

He finished 3rd in the championship, better that all but two drivers.

Although Audi's WTCR drivers are really good.

According to Peugeot, TCR Europe will race at Spa the day before Spa 500 in May. I guess they're trying to get more Europe entrants so hopefully they have more than 17 cars.

I thought there was another 24h event that weekend too? Would be very busy?

The 'other' race is a 12 hours, although part of the Creventic 24H series. I think the ideal will be for everyone to start at the same time, the Creventic cars get the chequered flag after 12 hours then the TCR continue for the remainder of their race.

They talked about it during the race broadcast. It will be like 4h on Friday then stopped overnight and restarted on Saturday for another 8h or so with no TCRs allowed. The 23h race is on Saturday through Sunday. If TCR Europe race they will have to squeeze around the 35h of racing. Supercar Challenge had 2 races over Spa 500 weekend so it's definitely possible.

Wow, that would be incredibly hard on teams, cars and drivers if you did both TCR Europe and the Spa 500 in the same weekend with Free Practice, Qualification and Races....not to mention the financial costs.
