Goransson pulls out of F3 - now what?
Richard Goransson has postponed plans to drive in the British Formula 3 Championship for the Performance Racing team.
Last minute budget problems forced the decision on the 23 year old Swede, last season’s European Formula Ford Driver of the Year with the works Van Diemen team. What a shame - and what choices does that leave him this late in the day? |

I'm really surprised at that, as I thought that the Swedish sports council and Performance's sponsors were keen to have Gorannson in F3.
I hope he can still work it out. |

Bit of a shame really, just goes to show money means more than talent now (how else did Paul Belmondo get into F1?) I think back to a young Scottish driver who had bags of talent but no money. Someone took a gamble on him in F3, and he did quite well for himself. His name...
