I was there as a marshall working in the final turn today. All i can say is that it was a great race. We had plenty of action from the station that i was working on. I watched and waved the yellow for the Maserati wreck. The #73-#81 bump and spin, #54-#6 collision, the #19 spin thru the grass and back onto the track in the latter stages of the race, #16 spin in the rain, . For the most part it was a clean race, but there were some major incidents, but i'm glad to say everyone is alright from the last i checked. As for the grand-am cup race yesterday, Jim Seafuse, Car #83 was airlifted out of the track.

Taken from motorsport.com:
Quote:
Seafuse was transported to Arnot-Ogden Hospital in Elmira, N.Y. for precautionary measures with heat-related symptoms and a possible concussion.
Here's Some pictures i took over the weekend

I really couldn't say. I've been to the last 2 six hour races and must say that a late race caution each time kept the fields closer. As for yesterday, i remember hearing that the top 3 @ one point in the race (hr 3 i believe) were separated by 15 sec. (01,4,39). I must admit, it was weird seeing the 01 without a rr fender in the latter stages of the race, but he still looked fast.

I worked with this guy yesterday in the 6hr. A real good guy. Oh yeah, and he still had that hat on until the rains came. Pic #12 from my first post, was our unofficial "Station Captain"
