TWR owes Ford for race engines

Ironic that TWR( you know the people that run HRT) owes
Ford millions for the suppluy of their FORD cosworth Formula one engines.

Much has been made of HRT's links to F1 technology, perhaps ForD should stop subsidising TWR( hence HRT)!

Maybe TWR could keep Ford sweet by running a Falcon team?

They're two totally different items, except they have the common denominator of wee Tommy... Intersting that he shelved out the money for the F1 team out of his own pocket, I suppose in a way that might have come from Ford who paid off Carig Lowndes's TWR management contract

Re TWR "Which bank payed Ford more likely". Now we know why TWR bought Prost, it was for the $$$$$$$'s. I'd say TWR are 1 step ahead of the creditors

TWR bought Prost for what he thought he would receive ie the TV money. He forgot to buy the F1 licence which was needed to GET that F1 TV money.

The canny Scot seems to have become the Botch-up Scot...

Interesting that although Tom keeps on saying that the owner is the consortium lead by Charles Nickerson/Chuck Nicholson (whatever he's calling himself these days), the only person fighting for the team is Tom. I reckon he only bought it so he could offload Arrows and it's debts to Red Bull, then start again.

It suprises me Tom and Chuck are still friends, seems to me that Charles did more harm than good when they were co-drivers in the Jaguar's in the ETC.
