Chef Club Race meeting

This may seem a strange question, but I'm just wondering what club car meetings are like?
I'm off to the BRSCC event at Oulton Park at the end of this month, and wonder if there's stalls/burger vans and stuff, or whether to just take a packed lunch?

I've never been to a club meeting so not sure on the size of event (though at the ticket price I'm not expecting it to be a very big event).

Thanks for the heads up!

Normal Oulton catering in place. Pricey but not bad.

Racing often (but not always) the best.

Programme (here: http://www.oultonpark.co.uk/calendar...ust/brscc.aspx) looks pretty decent.

Have a good day.

Regards

Jim

Not been for many years, from recent TV coverage(a whole day of caterham racing on yesterday)seems you will have the place to yourself-the few spectators present are most likely friends & or family of competitors?

Chequers Cafe will be serving hot and cold grub, all day and there is often a catering stall down towards Cascades.

As others have said, food will be readily available on the day, if somewhat expensive generally. As well as Oulton's on-site cafe, there's usually at least one burger van in the paddock, and likely to be one or two more dotted around the infield.

Not usually a huge number of spectators at this sort of meeting, although some clubs seem to drum up more interest than others. Not sure about the BRSCC however...

Hope you enjoy yourself anyway.

If you can try to get there for the whole day sometimes Practice/Qualifying can be more interesting than the actual racing.

You will also be able to wander quite freely around the Paddock and chat to many of the drivers/teams.
