Which team is most likely to beat Ferrari,...... eventually
OK, at some point the Ferrari run of constructors titles will end?
Which team is likely to do the job? I would say that the 2 teams most likely to challenge are Williams and McLaren, with Renault an outsider. Who would you say will do it? |

Well if you follow the latest cycle it will be Renault then Williams then McLaren then Ferrari again.
Hopefully for Marks sake it will be Jaguar But I think it will be McLaren  Which will mean Kimi will be next WDC |

I'd love to see someone other than the big three actually take a title - Renault look the most likely candidates - but I think McLaren will be the next non-Ferrari winners

I reckon it's most likely to be McLaren, although I think that might depend on how well the new car compares to the Ferrari. Williams look like they're getting back on track but have some way to go before they can compete with the leaders on every circuit.

I think Mclaren will be the next team at the top and I think Williams will be the team that will be fighting them. I am looking forward to some great battles between Kimi and Montoya

It's undoubtably going to be McLaren. No doubt about that in my eyes, Williams might topple them as well but McLaren will lead the way I am certain.

McLaren, though I won't discount Williams. They have the know-how to do it.

I thought I would be the only one voting (hoping) for BAR! Cool deal. Two votes thats one more than I expected. If Hondas history is anything to go by I seriously doubt they will be losing races for much longer. Many people hate or enjoy poking fun, in ignorance, at them but I feel their time will come.

They have resources yes, but they have no patience and no soul.
I hope they pack up and go home soon. |

Nah, let em stay I say. Just replace Ove and some of the managers.
Realistically we're looking at the order of chance being McLaren, Williams then Renault. But outside them, BAR has come a long way and so too Jaguar. Jordan, Sauber, Minardi and Toyota haven't come forward this year. Shame. |

Id like Williams BMW to do it but unfortunately they still dont have their design team right and Mclaren Mercedes are simply a much better team in every department..so my money is on Mclaren.

You'd have to say McLaren - Renault won't be successful after this year with their new engine and the fact that Gascoyne's pretty much a certainty to be leaving this season.

I'd say McLaren's chances are still very much alive - becase they've got Michelin and Kimi. If the new car runs solidly they can at least frustrate Ferrari - the main snag being that the F2003-GA will get better and better while McLaren are still playing it cautious with the new car.
The tyre question is important - last year Michelin got themselves into a similar place that Bridgestone find themselves in now - torn between playing it safe and going radical. Renault and Williams are both capable of taking points away from Ferrari - I fancy Williams to go well this weekend, and there are quite a few aero tracks where Renault will come back at them. So that's all pressure on Ferrari, and when there's sustained pressure there is the potential for bad judgement and slip-ups. It's wide open. |

I think that Ferrari will be winning the constructors title for a few more years yet. After that who knows how far the likes of Renault, BAR, Jag and Toyota will have come on.
I Hope it will be Jag by then but realistically at the moment I think the only team capable of beating Ferrari are Macs. |
