Pi System 3

In a last ditch attempt to find a use for the very expensive ballast currently fitted to the Club F3 car I'm working on this year I thought I'd put a post on here. I'm working on a F399 car which is fitted with the Pi System 3 data logger. Unfortunately at some point in its life the Pi download dongle and cable have been lost.

Pi are unable to help as they no longer have any in stock and can't get the components to create a new one. If you have any suggestions of people who might be able to help, or if you have a dongle and download cable sat in your garage without a home please let me know - I'd be very grateful!

Thanks

I don't think I've tried contacting you before, I'm a chapess btw. But thanks anyway.

Suspect I'm looking for hen's teeth, but it was worth a shot.

you could try matt@m-techcomposites.co.uk I dont think thats blocked by tenths yet mind you I haven't tried to advertise our Superior Twintex Floor, Sill and tank guards for Group N Subarus, Evo's, Citroen C2R2's, 205 and 206's as yet.

Not to mention our very high quality interior Pre-Preg Carbon Fibre products such as the very light weight door cards and flat sheeting we produce.

inamo: oh well someone called me about a system 3 download cable with the same problem that PI won't supply. Have you got a wiring diagram for it? you could fax that to me and I will pass it on to my electronic Guru and see if he has the time and/or interest in doing it!

Robin: you are right, I should....... bloody thing!!

Sounds like there's a market out there for them then. Think we may have found someone who can help, will let you know how we get on.

Thanks

why didn't you talk to Jason Watkins, PI's sales manager? He is a club racer and very concious of club driver's needs. He can be contacted through Borough 19MC(as he is our chairman) or through PI. he is usually at DMN rounds.
